Obudu Mountain Resort Gets a New Boss

Sequel to the recent reshufflement in Governor Ben Ayade's appointments, a new team has taken over the management of CICC Calabar.

Honourable Bobby Ekpenyong, who was redeployed to the Obudu ranch resort as Special Adviser formally handed over to Mr Joseph Isoh Edet, who until his redeployment was the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Obudu ranch.

Ekpenyong’s appointment attests to the Governor’s commitment to promoting the strategic development of the tourism industry to enhance value and generate revenue for the State while at the same time stimulating the exponential economic growth of Cross River State.

Ekpenyong has a Bachelor of Science honours degree in Social Works in the Department of Sociology from the University of Calabar.

Having held Management and Executive positions in the state as the Chairman Calabar Local Government Area Cross River State, Commissioner Sports Commission Cross River State, Special Adviser to Governor Professor Ben Ayade on industrialization and served as the Managing Director Calabar International Convention Centre. Bobby Ekpenyong has come to Obudu Mountain Resort with a track record of experience and expertise. A man of high integrity and impeccable character, he is well known for his ability to create a river out of an oasis anywhere he works. We can only expect new dawn in the Tourism Industry in Calabar under his stewardship
